Mote 개인정보처리방침

Mote(이하 “앱”)는 휴대폰에서 Org 노트를 편집하는 앱입니다. 이 방침은 앱이 다루는 정보와 그 처리 방법을 설명합니다.

1. 개발자가 받는 정보 — 없음

개발자는 서버를 운영하지 않으며 어떤 정보도 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 앱에는 계정, 광고, 분석 도구, 사용 통계 수집이 없습니다.

2. 기기 안에 두는 정보

노트와 설정 — 앱 저장 공간의 파일입니다. 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다.
동기화 로그인 정보 — 동기화를 켠 경우 GitHub·Google이 발급한 접근 토큰을 기기의 안전한 저장소(iOS 키체인, 안드로이드 키스토어)에만 둡니다. 토큰은 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다.

3. 동기화(선택)

동기화는 사용자가 켤 때만 동작하며, 기기와 해당 서비스가 HTTPS로 직접 주고받습니다.

GitHub — 사용자가 고른 저장소의 파일을 읽고 씁니다.
Google 드라이브 — Google 드라이브 범위(https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive)를 요청합니다. 사용자가 고른 폴더 하나를 기기의 노트와 맞추기 위해서입니다. 앱은 그 폴더 안의 파일만 목록·내려받기·올리기·휴지통 이동하고, 폴더를 고를 때 “내 드라이브”의 폴더 이름을 읽습니다. 그 밖의 파일은 읽거나 바꾸지 않습니다. 드라이브 화면에 표시할 계정 이름을 읽을 수 있습니다.

4. Google 사용자 데이터의 사용 제한

앱이 Google API에서 받은 정보를 쓰고 다른 앱으로 옮기는 일은 Google API 서비스 사용자 데이터 정책(제한적 사용 요건 포함)을 따릅니다. Google 사용자 데이터는 사용자에게 동기화 기능을 제공하는 데에만 쓰며, 개발자를 포함한 누구에게도 전송·판매·공유하지 않고, 광고나 AI·머신러닝 모델 학습에 쓰지 않으며, 사람이 읽지 않습니다.

5. 권한 철회와 삭제

앱의 로그아웃으로 기기의 토큰을 지울 수 있습니다.
Google 계정 설정의 「서드 파티 앱 및 서비스」, GitHub 설정의 「Applications」에서 언제든 앱의 접근 권한을 거둘 수 있습니다.
앱을 삭제하면 기기 안의 노트·설정·토큰이 지워집니다. 내 GitHub 저장소와 Google 드라이브의 파일은 사용자가 관리합니다.

6. 아동

앱은 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다.

Privacy Policy (English)

Mote is a notes app for editing Org files on a phone. The developer runs no server and receives or stores no information: there are no accounts, ads, analytics or usage statistics. Notes and settings stay in the app's storage on the device. If you turn on sync, the access tokens issued by GitHub or Google are kept only in the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore) and are never sent to the developer. Sync runs only when you enable it, directly between your device and the service over HTTPS. GitHub: the app reads and writes files in the repository you choose. Google Drive: the app requests the Drive scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive) in order to keep one folder you choose in sync with your notes; it lists, downloads, uploads and trashes files only inside that folder, reads folder names in My Drive when you pick the folder, and may read your account display name for the sync screen. It does not read or change other files.

Mote's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the sync feature to you; it is not transferred, sold or shared with anyone (including the developer), not used for advertising or to train AI/ML models, and not read by humans.

You can sign out in the app to delete the tokens on the device, and revoke access at any time in your Google Account ("Third-party apps & services") or GitHub settings ("Applications"). Uninstalling the app deletes the notes, settings and tokens on the device; files in your GitHub repository and Google Drive remain under your control. The app is not directed to children under 14.
